About NPIC
Nitte Pharma Innovation Center (NPIC), an initiative of NITTE (Deemed to be University), is
established with the vision of promoting skill development, innovation, research, and
entrepreneurship in pharmaceutical sciences. The Center serves as a dynamic platform that
integrates academic excellence with industry-oriented practices, enabling translation of knowledge
into practical pharmaceutical solutions. In alignment with national priorities and the university’s
innovation ecosystem, the Center focuses on formulation development, hands-on training, research
support, and consultancy services. In response to the growing emphasis on skill-based education
and innovation, the Center focuses on training students in the development of liquid, semisolid, and
solid dosage forms, supporting industry-oriented formulation services, and promoting research in
advanced drug delivery systems aimed at targeted delivery, reduced toxicity, enhanced efficacy,
and sustained release.

Mission
To impart quality education and training in pharmaceutical dosage form development, creating
competent and skilled professionals with strong knowledge of formulation, manufacturing
processes, and regulatory practices.
To promote innovation, translational research, and industry–academia collaboration while
nurturing a culture of integrity, ethical standards, and social responsibility.
