Showing reverence to all things that we use in our daily lives viz. equipment, tools, machines which make our lives easier is the significance of performing Ayudha pooja. Paying reverence to Goddess Saraswathi to bestow us with knowledge and wisdom is the significance of performing Saraswathi pooja.
The Principal, staff and students of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences joined together in performing the pooja on 24th October 2020. The laboratories, computer labs, stores, utility centre, library, pilot plant were decked up with mango leaves buntings and plantain tree. After the pooja, sweets in the form of holy prasadam was served to all present.
Neurodegenerative diseases are progressive degenerative conditions characterized by uncontrolled neuronal death leading to a progressive decline in brain functions. The limited efficacy of drugs for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases reflects their complex etiology and pathogenesis. The major disorders under this umbrella are Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. This webinar planned to know few mechanisms and models to understand and focus on the target methods to proceed in research of the particular neurodegenerative disorders.
